How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I Have a Very Shady Courtyard?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a solar panel separated by a wire that can range from two to six meters, which is great for a very shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why Isn’t My Solar Lamp Working Anymore?

Often, the reason for a malfunction with your solar lights is the battery. It is common for batteries not to charge or hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar lamp is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is causing the issue, but this is unlikely.
