How do solar lamps work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It may not be as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to nine meters, which is great for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

My solar light is not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It frequently happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is no longer working. It is very rare that the solar module itself is the issue.

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and will last for a shorter period.
