How Do Solar Lights Work?

Next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Rainy Region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with separated solar panels connected by a cable that can range from one to ten meters, great for dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but with less intensity.

Why Isn’t My Solar Light Working?

Most often, the cause of malfunction is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the duration of lighting will be shorter.
