How does a solar lamp work?

The next-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which power the LED lamp at night. As solar lights rely on solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives ample sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

What about winter regions?

It’s not as simple, but you can still have solar lights even in completely shaded areas. We offer solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from two to eight meters, perfect for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Most of the time, the issue lies with the rechargeable battery. Batteries often fail to charge or hold power. We recommend replacing the rechargeable battery with a regular battery to determine if that is the cause of the malfunction. Issues with the solar panel itself are very rare.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and they will not last as long.
