How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

It’s not as easy, but you can still use solar-powered lights, even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to nine meters, making them perfect for shading. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less bright.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Most often, the issue with your lights not functioning properly is due to the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or can’t hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly determine why your solar light isn’t working. It’s very rare for the solar panel module to be the cause.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the duration will be shorter.
