How does a solar light work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to five meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Most of the time, the battery is the cause of a malfunction in your lights. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is possible that the solar module is the problem, but this is very unlikely.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and not last as long.
