How do solar lights work?
New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since these lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
No direct sunlight available?
While it may not be as straightforward, you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from one to eight meters, making them ideal for heavily shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter-prone area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.
My solar lamp is not working?
Often, the cause of malfunctioning solar lamps is the battery. It is not uncommon for the batteries to fail to charge or retain their charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar lamp is not working. It is rare for the solar panel itself to be the issue.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?
Solar cells still absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter duration.
