How do solar lights work?

New-generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a rainy region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from three to ten meters, perfect for outdoor areas in the dark. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Most of the time, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It frequently happens that the batteries do not charge or cannot retain the power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not functioning. It is unlikely that the solar panel is the issue.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a windowpane. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter period of time.
