How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day, charging the rechargeable batteries which power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they must be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

It may not be as convenient, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lamps with a detachable solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to ten meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you reside in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still function, although they may be less powerful.

Why Isn’t My Solar Lamp Working?

Usually, the reason for lamp malfunction is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or cannot retain the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly determine why your solar lamp is not functioning. It is highly unlikely that the solar module itself is the cause of the problem.

How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even during cloudy weather or through glass. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will not last as long.
