Which solar lamp should you choose for your garden?

How does solar lighting work?

During the day, the photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

While not as straightforward, you can still install solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to five meters, ideal for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work but with reduced brightness.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Usually, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold the power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is highly unlikely that the solar panel itself is the cause of the issue.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dim light conditions or through glass. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and will not last as long.
