How do solar lights work?

The latest generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you have a heavily shaded courtyard?

It’s not as ideal, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights, even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to five meters, perfect for dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but with reduced intensity.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will quickly determine why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dark or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the duration will be shorter.
