How does solar lighting work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that gets maximum sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can have solar-powered lights even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to six meters, perfect for heavily shaded areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working?

Usually, the reason for a malfunction of your lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or don’t hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It’s possible that the solar energy module is at fault, but that is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar lamp without sun?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through ice. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
