How does a solar lamp work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights, even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to eight meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar wall lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or do not retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the problem, but this is unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter time.
