How Do Solar Lights Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since these lights are powered by solar energy, they must be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I Don’t Have Direct Sunlight?

While not as straightforward, you can still have solar lights even in a rainy region. We offer solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from three to eight meters, making them ideal for shaded areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but may have reduced brightness.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working Anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It’s common for batteries to fail to charge or hold energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you’ll immediately know why your solar light isn’t working. It’s very rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dark or through glass. So, you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light will not last as long.
