How Do Solar Lights Work?

The photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I Have a Shaded Yard?

Although it is not as convenient, you can still install solar-powered lights even in a shady or winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to eight meters, perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they may be less powerful.

My Solar Light is Not Working?

The most common cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Often, the batteries do not charge or hold power properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is highly unlikely that there is a problem with the solar module itself.

How to Recharge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and may not last as long.
