How Do Solar Lights Work?

Solar lights use photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight into electrical energy, which is stored in batteries and powers the light at night. To maximize performance, solar lights should be placed in an area that receives at least 8-10 hours of direct sunlight each day.

Living in a Rainy Region?

Even in cloudy or winter weather, you can still use solar lights. We offer models with separate solar panels connected by a wire, allowing you to position the panel in an area that receives more sunlight. If you live in a particularly rainy or winter region, your solar lights may still work but may be less powerful.

Why Isn’t My Solar Light Working?

The most common reason for solar light malfunction is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries do not charge or hold power properly. A quick tip is to replace the solar battery with a regular one to determine if the issue lies with the battery or solar panel.

How to Charge Solar Lights without Sunlight?

Solar panels can still absorb solar energy even in cloudy or indirect light conditions. However, the light may be less intense and the duration may be shorter.
