How does a solar lamp work?

The new generation photovoltaic cells absorb solar light during the day to fill the rechargeable batteries, which then activate the LED bulb at night. Since the lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as easy, but you can install solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separated solar module by a cable that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function but with reduced power.

Why isn’t my solar lamp working?

Typically, the reason for a malfunctioning luminaire is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that batteries do not charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar accumulator with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is unlikely that the solar module is the issue.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and shorter-lasting.
