Which outdoor solar lighting is right for you?

How do solar lights work?

Solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that gets a lot of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to six meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Generally, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that batteries do not charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately see why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the problem, but this is unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a glass surface. So you can charge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will not last as long.
