How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Solar panels absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. As solar lights rely on sunlight, they should be placed in an area that receives full sun exposure, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you have a heavily shaded yard?

While it may not be as convenient, you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a rainy area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from three to nine meters, perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you reside in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

My Solar Lamp is Not Working?

Oftentimes, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It’s possible that the batteries are not charging or retaining energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar accumulator with a regular battery, and you will immediately know the reason why your solar light isn’t working. It’s unlikely that the solar module is the issue.

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lamps even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the light will not last as long.
