How do solar lights work?

The solar cells store sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can have solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can vary from two to eight meters, which is great for heavily shaded outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of a malfunction in your lights is the battery. Often, the batteries do not charge or do not hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is very rare for the solar energy module to be the problem.

How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights in areas away from direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
