How do solar lights work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells absorbs sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

It’s not as simple, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to ten meters, perfect for outdoor areas in the dark. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar wall lights will still work but with reduced power.

My solar light is not working?

Often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for the batteries not to charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light does not work. It is very rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the problem.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even during dark weather or through a glass surface. So you can recharge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will not last as long.
