How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the battery, which then powers the light at night. Since solar lamps rely on solar energy, they must be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you have a very shaded courtyard?

While it may not be as convenient, you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We offer solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a cable ranging from one to six meters long, ideal for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or snowy region, your solar lights will still work but may be less powerful.

My solar lamp isn’t working?

Often, the issue with malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It’s common for batteries to not charge fully or retain their power. We recommend replacing the solar battery with a standard battery to determine if that’s the problem. Issues with the solar panel are very rare.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window, so you can charge your solar lamps even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense, and the battery life will be shorter.
