How does a solar light work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a rainy region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from one to ten meters, great for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but they will be weaker.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is also possible that the solar module is the cause, but this is very unlikely.

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
