Which solar lamp to choose for your garden?
There are solar lights for every taste and preference. You can create an outdoor space that matches your desires.
Solar garden lights: If you want to separate or decorate a path or passage in your garden, this is the type of light you need. They are easy to install with their garden stakes, where you can easily place them on a flat surface.
Solar terrace lights: If you have dark areas around your house or in your yard, placing wall lights around your home will give you a sense of security and more clarity. Usually built with a motion sensor for ideal autonomy. So don’t hesitate to buy our various models of wall sconces.
Powerful outdoor solar lamp: Typically easy to install, wireless solar lamps are ideal for illuminating a recreational area set up in your garden or terrace. They come in all sizes, from mini to large, depending on your outdoor style.
Solar-powered string lights: While most households install outdoor Christmas lights, you can also arrange your lights to create an eccentric garden and welcome your friends all year round. At Solar Lamp® we have different types of string lights, fairy lights, globe lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar animals for the garden: If you have a favorite animal, then you are sure to find your satisfaction among the various models offered by Solar Lamp. You can transform your outdoor space into a beautiful lit forest full of wild animals. Having status animals in your yard can help repel pests.
Solar garden lanterns: LED lanterns are very practical for illuminating your garden with their gentle brightness and are very useful as night lights. Use our wide variety of lanterns for a garden full of fun.
How does a solar lamp work?
Photovoltaic cells absorb solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Don’t have direct sunlight?
It’s not as easy, but you can still recharge solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to seven meters, great for a dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work, but they will be weaker.
Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?
Usually, the root cause of malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not retain power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is very unlikely.
For more information, see our maintenance guide.
How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?
Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and won’t last as long.
