How does solar lighting work?

Solar cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if you only have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as simple, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to eight meters, ideal for very dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be dimmer.

My solar lamp is not working?

Usually, the most common reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not retain power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is very unlikely that the solar panel itself is the issue.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lamps even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be weaker and will last for a shorter duration.
