Which solar light to choose for your garden?

How do solar lights work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light bulbs at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight in your area?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can vary from two to six meters, which is great for dark outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar light is not working anymore?

Usually, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or don’t hold the power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. The solar panel may also be the cause, but this is very rare.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and last for a shorter period of time.
