How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since solar lamps are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that gets maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do You Live in a Winter Region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable, which can range from three to nine meters, ideal for shady outdoor spaces. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

Why is my Solar Light Not Working?

Often, the reason for a malfunction in your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold the charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It’s also possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is less likely.

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even during cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower, and the charge will not last as long.
