How does solar lighting work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can install rechargeable solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to five meters, which is perfect for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but will be less powerful.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Most often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes the batteries do not charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is the issue, but this is unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and will not last as long.
