How do solar lights work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells absorbs sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then activate the LED bulbs at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sun, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

It may not be as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a cord that can range from two to six meters, perfect for a very dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be weaker.

My solar light isn’t working?

Often, the battery is the cause of malfunctioning lights. It can happen that the batteries don’t charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you’ll immediately find out why your solar light isn’t working. It’s very rare for the solar panel to be the issue.

How to charge a solar light without sun?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker, and the lights will not last as long.
