Which solar lamp to choose for your garden?

How does a solar lamp work?

Organic photovoltaic cells store sunlight during the day to fill rechargeable batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still have solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with separate solar panels connected by wire, which can range from one to seven meters, perfect for heavily shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for rechargeable batteries not to charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly see why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the issue, but that is very rare.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar modules can still absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
