How Does a Solar Lamp Work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do You Live in a Rainy Region?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can have solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to seven meters, perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My Solar Lamp Is Not Working?

Usually, the reason for a malfunction of your lights is the battery. Sometimes the batteries don’t charge or hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is possible that the solar panel is the cause, but this is unlikely.

How to Recharge a Solar Lamp without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. But the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter period of time.
