How does solar lighting work?

Photovoltaic cells collect sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It may not be as straightforward, but you can still have solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with separate solar panels connected by a cable that can range from three to seven meters, making them perfect for shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less bright.

Why is my solar light not working?

Most often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. Sometimes, the batteries do not charge or retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar cell with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light does not work. It is very rare for the solar panel to be the cause of the issue.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar modules continue to store solar energy even in dim light or through glass. So, you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less intense, and the duration will be shorter.
