How do solar lights work?

The latest generation of photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As solar lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I have a very shaded courtyard?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights, even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a detachable solar module connected by a wire that can range from one to five meters, perfect for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or winter area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working?

Commonly, the cause of malfunction in your lights is the accumulator. It frequently happens that the batteries do not charge or hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is rare for the solar panel to be the cause of the problem.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lamps outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less bright and will last for a shorter duration.
