How do solar lamps work?

Organic photovoltaic cells store solar energy during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives full sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do you live in a winter region?

It’s not as easy, but you can still install solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from three to six meters, ideal for a dark outdoor space. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work but they will be less powerful.

Why doesn’t my solar lamp work?

Usually, the reason for a malfunction of your lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the cause, but this is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter period of time.
