How Does Solar Lighting Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that gets maximum sun exposure, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still have solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can vary between two to five meters, perfect for a dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they may be less powerful.

My Solar Lamp Is Not Working?

Usually, the reason for a malfunctioning lamp is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is very rare that the solar power panel is the cause of the issue.

How to Recharge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less intense and last for a shorter period.
