How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells collect sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in a place that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a rainy region?

It’s not as simple, but you can still install solar lights even in a fully shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable that can range from three to five meters, perfect for heavily shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why isn’t my solar light working?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning solar lights is the battery. Often, the batteries don’t charge or retain the charge. Our top advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light isn’t working anymore. It is very rare for the solar panel itself to be the issue.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar cells still absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights outside direct sun rays. However, the brightness will be weaker and won’t last as long.
