What solar lighting is suitable for outdoor use?
There are solar lights to suit all tastes and preferences. You can create a customized space to match your desires.
LED solar path lights: If you want to separate or enhance a path or walkway in your garden, this type of light is perfect for you. They are easy to install with their garden stakes, which can be directly placed on a flat surface.
LED solar wall lights: If you have dark areas around your home or in your yard, installing wall lights will provide a sense of security and more clarity. These lights usually come with motion sensors for more sustainable use. So don’t hesitate to order our different types of wall lights.
Solar garden lamp posts: Easy to install, solar lamp posts are ideal for beautifying a recreational area in your garden or terrace. There are various types available, from powerful ones to mini or tall ones, depending on your garden preferences.
Solar fairy lights: While most homes install LED decorative lights for Christmas, you can also use them to create a different garden atmosphere and welcome your neighbors all year round. At Solar Lamp, we offer various models of fairy lights, string lights, Moroccan ball lights, and copper wire lights.
Solar animal lights for the garden: If you have a soft spot for a specific animal, you are sure to find one among the various choices offered by Solar Lamp. You can enhance your garden with a vibrant forest filled with beautiful species. Having animal decorations in your garden can also help deter pests.
Solar lanterns: LED lanterns are very effective in illuminating your garden with their subtle brightness, plus they are essential as night lights. Enjoy our wide range of lanterns for a garden filled with happiness.
How do solar lamps work?
Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
What if you have a very shaded courtyard?
It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from two to six meters, which is great for a very dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.
My solar lamp is not working?
Commonly, the reason for a malfunctioning light is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or cannot hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular one, and you will immediately find out why your solar light is no longer working. It is less likely that the solar panel is the issue.
For more details, see our maintenance guide.
How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?
Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So, you can charge your solar lights outside direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and will last for a shorter time.
