How does solar lighting work?
Photovoltaic cells accumulate sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Do you live in a winter region?
It’s not as easy, but you can still have solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a cable, which can range from two to ten meters, ideal for a dark outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.
Why is my solar light not working anymore?
Generally, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries don’t charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is uncommon for the solar panel to be the cause of the issue.
For more information, refer to our maintenance guide.
How to recharge a solar light without sunlight?
Solar modules continue to store solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and won’t last as long.
