How do solar lamps work?
The new generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Do you live in a rainy region?
It’s not as easy, but you can install solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from three to five meters, perfect for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work but they will be less powerful.
My solar lamp is not working?
Usually, the cause of a malfunction of your lights is the battery. It frequently happens that the batteries do not charge or do not retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar module is the issue, but that is unlikely.
For more information, see our maintenance guide.
How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?
Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a glass. So you can recharge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. But the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter time.
