How Does Solar Lighting Work?
Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the light bulb at night. Since these lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.
Living in a Winter Region?
While it may not be as easy, you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We offer solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable, ranging from two to seven meters long, ideal for heavily shaded areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still function, although they may be less powerful.
My Solar Lamp Isn’t Working?
Often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Sometimes, the rechargeable batteries may not charge properly or hold enough power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately find out why your solar lamp is not working. It is very rare for the solar panel module to be the issue.
For more information, refer to our maintenance guide.
How to Charge a Solar Lamp Without Sunlight?
Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through glass. Therefore, you can recharge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and will last for a shorter duration.
