How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that receives full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can extend from two to six meters, ideal for a very shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working?

Usually, the battery is the cause of malfunctioning lights. Sometimes, the batteries fail to charge or hold power. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is very rare for the solar energy module to be the issue.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in dark weather or through glass. So you can charge your solar lights outside of direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will last for a shorter period.
