How do solar lights work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. As the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in a location that receives full sun, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

It may not be easy, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from one to eight meters, perfect for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function, although they may be less powerful.

My solar lamp is not working anymore?

Most often, the cause of malfunctioning solar lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries don’t charge or hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar rechargeable battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly know why your solar lamp is not working anymore. It’s unlikely that the solar module is the problem, but it is still worth checking.

How to charge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even during cloudy weather or when placed near a window. So you can charge your solar lamps in the absence of direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and the duration of lighting will be shorter.
