How does a solar light work?

New generation photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still have rechargeable solar lights even in a winter region. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable ranging from one to five meters, perfect for dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar wall lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

Why is my solar light not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or do not hold the energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light isn’t working. It is possible that the solar panel is at fault, but this is very unlikely.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights even without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be lower and will last for a shorter period.
