How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since these lights are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a Winter Region?

While not as simple, you can still install solar-powered lights even in a winter region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar panel connected by a wire that can range from three to seven meters long, perfect for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still function, although they may be less powerful.

My solar light is not working?

Most often, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. It is common for the batteries to not charge or hold charge properly. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is no longer working. It is unlikely that the solar panel is the issue, but it is still worth checking.

How to charge a solar light without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dim light or through a window. Therefore, you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and the battery life will be shorter.
