Which solar lighting for outdoor use?

How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then activate the LED bulb at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in a location that gets maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

No direct sunlight?

It’s not as easy, but you can have rechargeable solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lights with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from two to nine meters, great for a very shady outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or wintery area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less bright.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lamps is the battery. It often happens that the batteries don’t charge or don’t retain energy. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is possible that the solar panel is to blame, but this is very rare.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So you can charge your solar lamps without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be weaker and will last for a shorter time.
