How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells collect sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. As the lamps are powered by solar energy, they should be positioned in an area that gets full sun, ideally eight to ten hours or more a day.

Don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as convenient, but you can install solar-powered lights even in a rainy region. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can range from one to nine meters, perfect for a heavily shaded outdoor area. If you live in a rainy or winter climate, your solar lights will still work, but they will be less powerful.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Usually, the cause of malfunctioning lights is the battery. Often, the batteries may not charge or may not retain power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is also possible that the solar panel is the issue, but that is unlikely.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to store solar energy even in cloudy weather or through a window. So you can recharge your solar lights away from direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less powerful and will not last as long.
