How Do Solar Lights Work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the LED lights at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be placed in an area that receives full sunlight, ideally for eight to ten hours or more per day.

Do You Live in a Rainy Region?

It may not be as easy, but you can still install solar lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar module connected by a wire that can be extended from three to seven meters, perfect for highly shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but with less power.

My Solar Light is Not Working?

Often, the reason for malfunctioning solar lights is the rechargeable battery. It can happen that the batteries do not charge or hold a charge. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a regular battery, and you will quickly find out why your solar light is not working. It’s very rare for the solar panel itself to be the cause of the issue.

How to Charge a Solar Light Without Sunlight?

Solar modules continue to absorb solar energy even on cloudy days or through a window. So you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and won’t last as long.
