How do solar lights work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the batteries, which then power the bulb at night. Because the lights are powered by solar energy, they need to be positioned in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Living in a winter region?

While not as convenient, you can still install solar-powered lights even in a completely shaded area. We have solar lamps with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can range from one to seven meters, perfect for heavily shaded outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or wintry region, your solar lights will still function, but they may be less powerful.

My solar lamp isn’t working?

Usually, the reason for your lights not working is the battery. It’s common for batteries to not charge or hold energy properly. Our best advice is to replace the rechargeable battery with a standard one, and you’ll immediately see why your solar light isn’t working. It’s very rare for the solar panel itself to be the issue.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar panels continue to store solar energy even in dim light conditions or through a window. So you can charge your solar lamps even without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less intense and last for a shorter duration.
