How does solar lighting work?

Organic photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulbs at night. Since the lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives maximum sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

What if I don’t have direct sunlight?

It’s not as straightforward, but you can still install solar-powered lights, even in a rainy area. We have solar lights with a separate solar panel connected by a cable that can vary from two to five meters, ideal for very dark outdoor areas. If you live in a rainy or winter region, your solar lights will still work but may be weaker.

Why is my solar lamp not working anymore?

Often, the reason for malfunctioning lights is the rechargeable battery. It often happens that the batteries do not charge or hold the power. Our best advice is to replace the solar battery with a normal one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working anymore. It is unlikely that the solar panel is the cause of the problem.

How to recharge a solar lamp without sunlight?

Solar cells continue to absorb solar energy even in dark weather or through a window. So, you can recharge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the brightness will be less intense, and they will last for a shorter period.
