How Do Solar Lights Work?

Photovoltaic cells absorb sunlight during the day to charge the rechargeable batteries, which then power the LED bulb at night. Since solar lights are powered by solar energy, they should be placed in an area that receives plenty of sunlight, ideally eight to ten hours or more per day.

Got a Shady Yard?

It’s not as convenient, but you can still install rechargeable solar lights in a shaded area, even in a rainy region. We have solar lights with separated solar modules connected by cables ranging from three to ten meters, perfect for dark areas outdoors. If you live in a rainy or wintry area, your solar lights will still work, but they will be weaker.

My Solar Light Isn’t Working?

Typically, the reason for a malfunctioning solar light is the battery. Sometimes, the batteries may not charge or retain energy. Our best advice is to swap the solar battery with a regular one, and you will immediately know why your solar light is not working. It is very unlikely that the solar panel is causing the issue.

How to Charge Solar Lights Without Sunlight?

Solar panels continue to absorb solar energy even in dim light or through a window. Therefore, you can charge your solar lights without direct sunlight. However, the light will be less powerful and last for a shorter duration.
